Oath of Friendship
To my best friend, my true friend, my friend so very dear;
I so boldly swore my friendship; and swore I'd keep you near . My friend whom wishes greeting perils, least I may not know;
I'll follow you in the darkness; alone you shall not go.
I swore that I'd protect you, and protect you that I may;
And to this I hold so very true; I'll protect you till my last day.
If by fate you leave me; and lay the quest aside
I'll carry on your burdened task, and keep your name alive.
